Cartoon The Goth Scout Opera continues

Elena - The Goth Scout Opera continues

Yes, France Gall makes her one and only appearance in the Goth Scouts strip.
When she was still a teenager, France Gall sang a very suggestive song about a lollipop. This is yet another cartoon in the series of cartoons commemorating the world of pop shlock which begins the second act of our opera.
Failing to find a good punch line, this cartoonist has settled on some very bad puns about lollipops. We only hope the next cartoon is actually funny...

Posting cartoons here has given me much more respect for cartoonists like Quino, who are masters at wordless cartoons. I will have to work on the visual gag.

Here I'm working not only with a continuity, but an opera. To do this sequence of pop singers, perhaps a stage would have been better than a two dimensional cartoon. The opera "Die Meistersinger" by Richard Wagner from which I derived the name of my opera "Die Meistershlager", revolves around a singing contest. Therefore, I put a Eurovision singing contest into my cartoon opera about the greatest Meistershlager of them all, Heino.

I swear to god i don't get it at all. This is a interludium somehow? I really like your abilities in drawing and must admit your style is original. But your sense of storytelling, i guess, is to original for me. I find myself completely unable to follow your story. That doesn't have to mean, that it lacks of sth., but i'm so corrupted right now!
I don't get it at all. And i don't know if that can be based on you rather than myself.
Well i have to think more about your works to give a worthy comment. Perhaps the next cartoon to come will further my ambitions hehe
