 Schlange ist überzeugt davon in einer ungerechten, egoistischen Welt zu leben, in der vor allem sie benachteiligt ist. Wenn einem vor Urzeiten von einem aufgeblasenen Wichtigtuer die Beine genommen wurden, dann gibt einem das das Recht, sich bei seinen Mitgeschöpfen zu bedienen. Sollten diese einmal Widerstand leisten, so werden sie moralisch deart vernichtend abgeurteilt, dass sie nie mehr in den Spiegel schauen können.
Schlanges Kumpel sind ‚Schwein', das Schwein und ‚Ecco' die Eidechse. Letztere ist ebenso ängstlich wie einfältig wogegen Schwein ein ziemliches Temperamentsbündel ist. Seine Maximen sind ‚Ordnung ist das halbe Leben' und ‚Tu was, dann wird dir besser!'. Mit Schlange gerät er oft aneinander.
